Attachment of Fabric to Awnings–
awning frame. The fabric is stretched onto the frame and then stapled
into the staple-groove of the extrusion. PVC trim is then installed into the
staple groove, concealing the staples and providing a sharp, clean
appearance. The staple-in method results in the fabric fitting tighter on
the frame. This not only looks better, but also prohibits the wind for
buffeting the fabric against the frame, prolonging the life of the fabric.
